Lamination reorders the direction of your hair and sets it brushed upward. It adds no pigment and no real density: it places what you already have so it covers gaps and the brow reads fuller and lifted. It's the service that tames unruly hair or hair that grows downward, and it lasts 4 to 6 weeks.

How it works, step by step

Hair assessment

Density, thickness and growth direction. That sets the exact timing of each lotion for your case.

Cleanse & style

The area is degreased and the hair is placed in its final direction, strand by strand.

Smoothing lotion

It opens the fiber so the hair accepts the new direction. It's timed: this is where a brow gets over-processed.

Setting

A second lotion seals the shape and leaves it stable.

Nourish & finish

Oil or keratin restores what the process dries out, plus a tip trim if needed.

The days before your appointment

What to do

✓ Come with clean brows, no makeup or cream in the area.

✓ Let the hair grow: the more there is, the more the effect shows.

✓ Tell us if you've had lamination in the last 6 weeks.

What to avoid

· Retinol, acids or exfoliants in the area for 5 days prior.

· Lamination or a brow perm less than 6 weeks ago.

· Heavy sun or tanning beds 48 h before.

· Shaping them yourself first: the design comes after lamination, once the hair is placed.

Not recommended

When this isn't your treatment

Lamination works chemically on the hair and the skin around it. It isn't performed in these cases:

Very fine, brittle or damaged hair · the process dries it further
Lamination or a perm done less than 6 weeks ago
Dermatitis, psoriasis or an open wound in the area
Isotretinoin (Accutane) within the last 6 months
Known thioglycolate allergy
Micropigmentation still healing · we wait until the skin has closed

No wetting, steam, sauna or product on the brow. The set is still settling.

Week 1 Brush and nourish
Brush in the morning, oil at night. That's the whole routine.
Weeks 4–6 Time to repeat
New hair grows in its original direction. Lamination isn't repeated before 6 weeks.

Daily oil isn't optional: lamination dries the fiber, and nourishment is what keeps the hair healthy between sessions.

What to avoid the first 24 hours

· Wetting the brow or using steam the first 24 hours.

· Makeup over the area on day one.

· Exfoliants, retinol and acids on the brow the first week.

· Skipping the oil: the hair dries out and breaks.

· Repeating lamination before 6 weeks.

Lamination questions

Will more hair grow in?

No. Lamination doesn't create new hair: it places what you already have so it covers more surface. If your brow is very sparse the effect will be limited, and we'll tell you at the consultation.

How long does it last?

4 to 6 weeks. Treated hair holds the shape; new growth comes in its original direction, which is why the service is repeated.

Does it damage the hair?

It dries the fiber, like any chemical process. That's why it's timed to your hair, finished with nourishment, and not repeated before 6 weeks.

Can I combine it with waxing or tint?

Yes, and that's the logical order: laminate first, then design, because with the hair placed you can see your brow's real shape. Mention it when booking so we set aside enough time.

Lamination or Powder Brows?

Lamination works on hair and lasts weeks; Powder Brows deposits pigment in the skin and lasts years. If you have hair and only lack order, laminate. If you lack brow, pigment is what builds it.
