Men's eyebrow shaping

Tidied, not redesigned.

A men's brow doesn't follow the rules of a women's brow: thickness and a flat line are the expression, and thinning them or lifting the arch is exactly what you don't want. The job here is a different one: open up the unibrow, clear the hair creeping onto the eyelid and the strays firing out of line, then bring the length under control. People notice you look better. They don't notice you went.

Procedure

How it works, step by step

  1. 1

    Reading your brow

Growth direction, density and which part of the outline is muddying your gaze. No new arch gets drawn.

  2. 2

    Agreeing how far

We mark what comes off and what stays untouched. If you're unsure we start with less: more can always come off next time.

  3. 3

    Unibrow & outline

Wax between the brows and on the hair invading the eyelid, following the line you already have.

  4. 4

    Tweezer detail

Strays outside the line come out one by one, without opening a gap in the density.

  5. 5

    Trimming the length

Scissors on hair that curls or lifts, keeping the volume intact.

Benefits

What you gain

Still you: thickness and the horizontal line are respected: nobody is going to say you had your brows done.
Clear gaze: opening the unibrow changes a face more than any other 40-minute detail.
No feminine arch: the peak isn't lifted and the tail isn't thinned, which is where bad work gives itself away.
Low upkeep: every 4-6 weeks is enough; men's hair gives you more room between appointments.
Who it's for

The right choice if…

  • Your unibrow is filling in and you want it separated without an obvious hard line.
  • You've got long hairs that curl or stick up and you're not sure whether to cut them.
  • You had them waxed once and they came out too thin: here they're grown back with direction.
  • You want to look looked-after without it showing that there's work behind it.
  • You want upkeep with the same person and the same standard every 4-6 weeks.
Preparation

The days before your appointment

What to do
Come as you are, no trimming or plucking the week before.
Let the hair reach at least 3-4 mm so the wax can grip it.
Tell us if you use retinol, acids or any dermatological treatment on your face.
What to avoid
· Retinol, acids or exfoliants in the area for 5 days prior: skin lifts with the wax.
· Shaving between the brows beforehand: it leaves the hair too short to work with.
· Heavy sun exposure or tanning beds 48 h before.
· Chemical peels or facial laser within the previous 2 weeks.
Not recommended

When this isn't your treatment

Wax isn't applied on compromised skin. The service isn't performed in these cases:

  • Isotretinoin (Accutane) within the last 6 months · skin lifts with the wax
  • Retinoids or acids applied to the area in the last 5 days
  • Sunburn, dermatitis or an open wound in the area
  • Recent chemical peel or facial laser (less than 2 weeks)

Where the result sits

Deliberately natural: the goal is to look tidy, never designed. If you want the outline a little cleaner, we decide that before we start.

Aftercare

Care timeline

  1. First 2 h Redness is normal

The skin may stay pink, especially between the brows. It settles on its own; if it bothers you, gentle cold on the area.

  2. First 24 h No heat

No sauna, hard workouts or pool over the waxed area.

  3. Days 2-3 Moisturize

A gentle acid-free cream supports follicle recovery.

  4. Week 1 Brush the long hair

Combing it upward keeps the direction and stops it curling.

  5. Weeks 4-6 Upkeep

Time to come back: new growth can be removed while keeping the same line.

With upkeep every 4-6 weeks the shape holds and each session gets shorter.

What to avoid the first 24 hours
· Direct sun, sauna and steam the first 24 hours.
· Exfoliants, retinol and acids for the following 3 days.
· Touching or scratching the area.
· Plucking at home between appointments: that's what opens gaps in the density.

FAQ

Men's eyebrow questions

Will it be obvious I had my eyebrows done?

That's exactly the standard this service works to. Thickness isn't reduced and the arch isn't lifted, which is what gives away feminine work on a man's face. What comes off is the unibrow, hair over the eyelid and strays outside the line. The change reads as 'looking well', not as done brows.

Does it hurt?

The wax is felt for a second or two per section and fades immediately. Between the brows is the most sensitive spot and also the quickest. It's calmed with product during the appointment itself.

How often should I come back?

Every 4 to 6 weeks. Men's hair is thicker and grows back with more body, so the window between appointments is longer than for women's brows.

What if my hair is very long?

It gets trimmed with scissors, not waxed. Cutting the length keeps the volume; waxing it would hollow the brow out. It's the step that changes a mature brow the most.

Can I just get the unibrow done?

Yes. It's the most common way in and plenty of clients stay there for the first few appointments. You book the same 40-minute slot and we agree the scope when we start.
