Preparation

The days before your appointment

What to do

✓ Sleep well and hydrate the day before.

✓ Have breakfast before your appointment: it lowers sensitivity.

✓ Bring photos of how you do your brows, if you have references.

What to avoid

· Alcohol and caffeine 24 h before (they increase bleeding).

· Aspirin or ibuprofen 48 h before, unless medically prescribed.

· Retinol or acids on the area 2 weeks before.

· Intense sun, tanning or brow waxing the week before.

When this isn't your treatment

Powder Brows isn't for everyone, and telling you beforehand is part of the job. It is not performed in these cases:

Pregnancy or breastfeeding
Uncontrolled diabetes · it affects healing
Blood thinners or clotting disorders
Active oncology treatment · check with your doctor first
Keloids or hypertrophic scarring
Heavily saturated previous micropigmentation · may need removal first; we assess it at the consultation

The final tone emerges evenly.

What to avoid while healing

· Getting the area wet the first 7 days (shower carefully).

· Makeup on the brow for 10 days.

· Pool, sauna and heavy sweating for 2 weeks.

· Direct sun; afterwards, daily sunscreen.

· Scratching or picking the flakes.

Powder Brows questions

Powder Brows or microblading?

Powder if your skin is oily, you like the made-up finish, or a previous microblading blurred. Microblading if you want the most natural effect and your skin is normal or dry. We decide at the consultation with your skin in front of us.

Is this the same as ombré brows?

Yes. Ombré brows, ombré powder brows and powder brows all name the same technique: pigment shaded into the skin with a machine, lighter at the head and denser toward the tail. Different studios market it under different names; the work is the same, and it is what you book here.

Will it look too strong?

No. I work with low saturation and gradients: freshly done it looks more intense, and by 4 weeks it settles into a soft shading, like makeup powder.

Does it work over old microblading?

In most cases, yes: shading covers blurred strokes well. If a lot of dark or discolored pigment remains, removal may be needed first. Bring photos to the consultation.

Why is it better for oily skin?

Sebum blurs microblading's fine strokes over time. Shading micro-dots stay defined even when the skin produces more oil.

How many sessions do I need?

Two: the initial session and the 6-week touch-up, included in the price. Afterwards, an annual maintenance touch-up keeps the color fresh.
